"Adolescence" proves need for two-tier justice

Just look at this kid: he's white!

The hit British / Netflix TV show Adolescence is about is about how a 13 year old boy stabs a girl to death because he's an incel, even though, apparently, he looks like a TV star and (did I mention?) he’s 13.

Really?

Is this a realistic portrayal of the demographics of either British knife violence or of inceldom?

But, the point is, he’s been red-pilled by Andrew Tate, a part-black Muslim convert pornographer who is particularly popular with nonwhite youth.

So, this has set off a giant Conversation among the Nice People about how something must be done about social media spreading misogyny, as you can see from watching Adolescence.

We can’t do anything about immigration policy, so we must instead have a moral panic about white youths adopting nonwhite attitudes, which are all the fault of whites.

Or something.

Nobody can seem to logically explain what they are thinking, but that’s not the point. The point is that they are all worked up over how you are the Bad People and they are the Good People, just look at you.

In reality, Britain has big problems with blacks stabbing each other and with Pakistanis and Albanians abusing young white girls. But you can’t talk about that or the bobbies will come knocking on your door asking you to please accompany them down to the station to assist them with their enquiries.

And the English love to talk. So they talk about what Netflix in Los Gatos, CA has ginned up for them as if that is realistic.

MoJ analysis for England and Wales released ahead of David Lammy’s review into treatment of black people by criminal justice system

Young black people are nine times more likely to be locked up in England and Wales than young white people, according to Ministry of Justice analysis.

The official exploratory study also shows that young black people are more likely to be identified with “gang concerns” and be considered a risk to others when being sentenced than any other ethnic group.

The research was released on Friday, before next week’s expected publication of the final report of the landmark review into the treatment of black people by the criminal justice system. The report, commissioned by Downing Street and carried out by the Labour MP David Lammy, is expected to include strong recommendations for action.

The Lammy review was given a political boost by Theresa May when she pledged to fight racial injustice during a speech on the steps of No 10 after she became prime minister last year. “If you’re black, you’re treated more harshly by the criminal justice system than if you’re white,” she said.

An interim report by Lammy last November confirmed that people from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds were more likely to be jailed for some crimes than those who were white. It revealed ethnic disparities at many stages of the criminal process, including arrest, charging, prosecution and imprisonment.

However, the MoJ analysis shows that the problem is more acute for young black people. While black people are four times more likely to be in prison than white people, the incarceration rate rises to nine times more likely for those under the age of 18.

About nine in every 10,000 young black people in the general population were locked up in young offender institutions, secure training centres or secure children’s homes in England and Wales in 2015-16. This compared with one in every 10,000 of those from white ethnic backgrounds, four in every 10,000 of those from mixed ethnic backgrounds, and two in every 10,000 of those from backgrounds classified as “Asian and other”.

So, in England and Wales, blacks youths are imprisoned nine times as much as white youths are.

This couldn’t possibly be due to black youths committing nine times more serious crimes than white youths, so it’s just proof that we need to freak out more about white youths being Bad.

The report also shows that while the overall numbers of young people aged 10-17 in the daily youth custody population has fallen sharply in recent years, from 7,096 in 2005-06 to 924 in June this year, the number from BAME backgrounds has fallen at a slower rate than those who are white.

Britain had a sizable crime problem back around the turn of the century (especially Glasgow, where knife violence was rampant). The Brit’s have strong gun control, so, unlike America, they have a high rate of blacks stabbing each other with sharp objects rather than shooting each other.

Britain used to have a fairly high white crime rate. I recall going to the veddy genteel suburbs of Oxford on a business trip in 1994 and my English colleagues spending our entire lunch together talking about how their cars had been stolen.

My impression is that since then the young white population has notably calmed down.

In contrast, British drill rappers murder each other at an insane rate.

Of course, the British Establishment views this as proof of racism. Hence, the Sentencing Council in the U.K., a recently created QUANGO delegated immense power, has announced a new “two-tier” system of sentencing to punish whites harder than nonwhites because nonwhites, per capita, commit more crimes. I mean, what could make more sense than reducing deterrence on those more likely to murder? Haven’t you seen Adolescence?

Even poor Keir Starmer, the Labour prime minister, thinks this is nuts, but he’s probably been to busy to watch Adolescence.
