Given that Trump is already using the royal "we," this further suggests Moldbug has, um, uh already won.

Maybe, but there is a longer American tradition of regarding monarchy as synonymous with absolute monarchy even though the latter is dead in the West. Does anyone remember that female lawyer who said (in the Trump era, but several years ago by now) "He can name his son Barron but he cannot create anyone a baron?"

I don't know why these people are so mean to Curtis. He's an easygoing guy and a widower who is much nicer to them in person than I would be.

People generally don't like it when others don't match their energy. If they have an emotional irrational conflict vibe goin they want their opponent to be the same. Hitting them with a mild tone, logic and facts and hoping for the same back will drive them to distraction.

ROTFL!

Yarvin's monarchism is the World Economic Forum agenda with racist icing to make it palatable to the Right.

I've intentionally appropriated his Rules for Reactionaries branding in order to remind people that an American reactionary is one who wants to restore our Old Republic -- which had populist elements from the get-go.

Yarvin is absolutely correct in the supposition that democracy requires a measure of economic equality. Where he misses the boat is assuming that we cannot have smaller government and more equality. Tax the rent seekers, enforce the national picket line, and balance the budget. Do that and you can have smallish government and enough equality to be compatible with a democratic republic.

This is possible even if all the naughty things you have Noticed turn out to be genetic. Black America can thrive better under a properly implemented small government populism than it can under what the Democrats are currently offering. Cut the complicated paperwork and the virtues which Blacks currently do well at -- charisma and empathy -- can compete well enough with the more nerdy virtues. Teach phonics and make some other educational reforms, and Blacks will do better at the nerdy virtues, as recent Mississippi test scores prove.

We could make the Trumps the American royal family. Princes Donald II, Eric and Baron. Princess Ivanka. Prince Donald could be Prince of Miami. Eric could be Prince of Queens. Baron could be Prince of Palm Beach. Ivanka could be Princess of Manhattan. Rip up the Constitution. Thanks for 237 years of service. Democrats would be forced to kneel to the King.

I'd been puzzled by the "No Kings" theme, since it seemed out of the blue, compared with the 2017 "Trump's a Putin Asset!" campaign which at least had the benefit of the Steele dossier's allegations. For Trump's intention to crown himself King of the Americas, dissolve Congress and designate one of his sons as heir to the throne we have no evidence whatsoever. I'd forgotten about Yarvin, though evidence his ties to Trump seem similarly lacking. Too bad they haven't seized on Bronze Age Pervert, who claims that every real man craves to be a god. That would make for some interesting signage.

Apparently there are British and Canadian spinoff protests that for obvious reasons have adopted "No tyrants" instead, which seems to be what the American original really means to begin with.

Wouldn't it have been easier just to say, "sic semper tyrannis"? Of course, that phrase (still the Virginia state motto) carries certain unfortunate historical connotations...

They attacked police on Buford Highway in Atlanta already. This is the most racially diverse (minus non-Somali blacks and most whites) part of the metro area and includes the massive federal refugee hub. Later I'll go to Gainesville, which is actually the zip code with the highest percentage of illegal immigrants in the country (Poultry City). Lots of useful idiots carrying professionally produced PSL (Party for Socialism and Liberation) signage.

Bronze Age Pervert would make for amusing signs indeed -- so would the lamented Last Psychiatrist blog.

I think the "No Kings" nonsense began with the Supreme Court's presidential immunity decision; the media immediately adopted the talking point that the decision gave the president "king-like" powers and protections, and Schumer announced legislation to undo the decision, to be called the " No Kings Act."

Who but a king would dare enforce civil law uniformly?

Writing of which, did anyone else notice the sudden push then loss of interest in the idea that being in the country without papers (in its basic form) is a civil violation? The claim was that it's on a level with jay-walking, so why make a big deal? Of course those 'why is this so important to you?' arguments can always go both ways. Would you riot if your city started enforcing jaywalking laws more vigorously?

The answer is yes. Yes they would.

The Queen also did nothing as Rotherdam was turned into an underage white girl brothel run by unindicted Islamists; the police were deballed until the only laws enforced were "hate speech" laws against ordinary Britains, who were and are arrested and imprisoned for blog posts, while underage white girls are raped and enslaved by "migrants." The people slapped the Queen senseless with Diana, and she never recovered. Now a nation of ditsy bints, male and female. Sad, but not inevitable.

Agree. Their queen was completely and utterly useless. Sat there and approvingly nodded as their nation was immivaded and basically ransacked as a home for the British people.

The British royals are garbage people. Exhibit A in debunking all this monarchy is good nonsense.

No, the only way you preserve a nation is actual republican government from the responsible men of the nation--the productive wife+kids family men who have a deep stake in the nation's survival.

Have to agree with the general sentiment that Curtis is a lovely guy in real life and superb company.

If I had to assume his mantle and try to divine his take, it would probably be that these left-wing Hobbits are actually under the influence of a Dark Elf King (Feanor would be a good starter) and that the very existence of the March is evidence of an effective Monarch.
