Armed Portuguese National, Age 48, Found Dead by Suicide

The cops link him to the Brown shooting and perhaps to the assassination of the 47 year old Portuguese MIT physicist.

I thought that idea was interesting, but I definitely wasn’t going to promote it unless more evidence turned up in favor of it. I hate being wrong.

It’s important for pundits to remember their mistakes as well as their triumphs. But it’s hard for humans with healthy self-esteems to do that.

Claudio Manuel Neves Valente is the full name of the dead man. Those are pretty common Portuguese and Brazilian names, so I can’t find anything trustworthy about this particular guy from before a few days ago.

I’d speculate that the 48 year old Portuguese killer may have known the hugely successful 47 year old Portuguese fusion physicist and perhaps had some resentment festering inside him for a long time: Why am I a no-good twisted psycho while everybody admires and loves Nuno? Nuno must have done something to sabotage my life back 1999 (or whatever)?

So this probably explains why Sailer’s Law of Mass Shootings didn’t apply to the Brown shooting. That was a strange school shooting because the shooter didn’t linger to finish off the many wounded, but instead escaped after killing only two.

That was because he had one more person to kill before he died.
