I haven't noticed many South Asian/European mixes (5). Perhaps they mixed before they arrived. I'd be interested in timelines of Asian immigrations.

I had an apartment mate in 1984 who was Anglo-Indian. Being from India they only marry other Anglo-Indians.

But, yeah, probably the European ancestry component was from Aryan invaders.

I wonder if the Anglo-Indian will be largely bred out as India is over 75 years from being part of the British Empire. Other than the railroads, a few buildings and an affinity for cricket, is there any British stamp on India?

Some modern cases like JD Vance and wife.

Kamala Harris’s mother was 100% Indian and her father was a fairly light-skinned black from Jamaica.

Just today I read an article with a photo of a suburban couple. The man was an Indian with surname Patel and the wife was white.

I’ve known a fair few children of North Indians and North Europeans.

The kids generally have dark hair and dark eyes but are generally assumed to be white. One North Indian mother I knew had a blond, blue-eyed son with her German husband.

Interesting. I would assume Group 6 would get quite a bit more Euro over the next couple of generations (provided we largely halt illegal immigration) due to intermarriage, and therefore the percentage of the population that claims Latino as an ethnicity will eventually decline and the share that simply identifies as white will increase although the percentage that is solely of Euro stock will be under 50 percent.

There are elements of the left and right that would be horrified at this outcome, although it’s the former that is most proactive in trying to head this off and no doubt will try to reopen the southern border as soon as they regain control of the presidency.

I believe a large percentage of Hispanics with a smidgen of Indian blood consider themselves white even today.

No doubt. I once had to survey a community in the SW that had probably 80% Spanish surnames and when they had to indicate their race on the form the overwhelming majority chose "white" as opposed to "Hispanic/Latino" which surprised me a lot.

Still, there is a sort of cultural/political Latino identity that exists today that I think is going to fade quite a bit. Obviously the left hoped it would cleave off a new ethnic/racial group that sees itself as not white and therefore open to anti-white appeals, but it didn't really work. Latinos are still majority Dem voters but they seem to be more motivated by economic/class stuff than anything else, which is most similar to whites.

I think the more urban a Hispanic population, the more left it is with the exception of Cubans. The more rural a Hispanic is, the more likely he is going to be conservative.

There are a lot of genomes in the wide World. A start is a start, to be sure and it would be interesting to line all this up with languages. Interesting subject.

Arabic is spoken in the Middle East and North Africa. They seem to be ignoring North Africans.

I would gather that the old cultural norm against black-white marriages remains but it is quietly confined to the living rooms. This is especially so with white men. I wouldn't think in our racially progressive modern America that many fathers are as permissive as Nicole Brown Simpson's father. And you see what that got her.

In my Latin Mass parish church, we have a few interracial marriages and two of them are what you might predict. Two are white men with East Asian wives and yes both wives are reserved to the point of docility. Certain white men, especially those who attend the Latin Mass, prefer quiet women. All the children of these two marriages look East Asian. The other interracial marriage is odder, an Indian man with a white wife. All their children have the man's skin color. A basic genetic truth is that when a white breeds with any other racial group, your children are not going to look like you.

Dave Chappelle has a funny line about one of his kids' private school in Ohio. He goes, "he's not the only black kid, but I'm the only black parent."

Interesting. Though of absolutely no importance whatsoever, of course.

I was surprised that the mestizos so vastly outnumber the mulattoes. Despite your warning that the sampling is not exactly proportional.
