Right now, the bloviating speculation by reporters on cable channels is just crazy. Without any information, calling the suspect a "man," asserting that it's unknown whether the suspect had a gun (ignoring all other lethal possibilities), putting video onscreen without any attribution and before they had seen it themselves. You can't hate the media enough.

All of DC on the Correspondents' Night Dinner is a madhouse. Trump and his wife showed amazing fortitude, in the arena and directly afterwards. It's madness for the President to even be out of the White House on that night.
By noon today I expect the White House will issue an announcement that the administration has offered the new White House ballroom for next year’s correspondents dinner.
