At least four people were killed and dozens more were injured in a shooting at in Birmingham, Alabama police said early Sunday.
At least four of the wounded have “life-threatening injuries,” Birmingham Police Department Officer Truman Fitzgerald told a news conference, hours after the incident in what he called one of the city’s “most popular entertainment districts.” …
It is the second mass shooting in the city this year. In July, four people were killed at a nightclub.
Sailer’s Law of Mass Shootings is that in incidents with four or more people killed or wounded by gunfire, if more are wounded than killed, the shooter (or often shooters) is probably black. But when more are killed than wounded, the shooter is likely nonblack.
One reason for this is that black mass shooters usually want to escape, so they don’t hang around to finish off the wounded, whereas nonblack mass shooters typically made up their mind ahead of time that they are never coming home.
A corollary to Sailer’s Law is that mass shootings on Saturday night are almost always black-on-black. (An exception might be domestic slaughters.)

Blacks kill impulsively, Whites and East Asians usually kill because of personal grievances.
