I think the critique is Jews are not doing a very good job being overlords. very talented bunch of people but when Jewish individuals reach the big time they don't do enough to think about the little guy.

I think it's a decent critique. And it puts us non big time Jews in the weird position of having to somehow defend these creeps.

On the other hand the "goyim" in Epstein's orbit acted the same way or maybe even worse. The reality check is that Jews give outsized charity generaly speaking, as you have written about previously.

I think maybe what we have here is simply the bursting of some kind of bubble of what we thought about Jews in higher positions, maybe we put them on some kind of pedestal that is now being lowered to reality..

Who was it that said Jews are just like everybody else only more so?

What's the opposite of soft bigotry of low expectations?

hard bigotry of high expectations?
